Hi Anu,
Job scheduling is used to repeat a program at certain time intervals. For e.g. An e commerce site would like to calculate their sale every hour for Analysis purposes. So they will make a program which calculates the sale of last hour and schedule it to run every hour.

There is no direct relationship between the characteristics of programming languages and the concepts involved in today's definition of cloud computing. Cloud computing platforms themselves are built in many languages from C through to Python, Java, C+, Ruby.

Hi Nidhi,
No doubt cloud computing has captured huge market but it will be not be able to replace the dedicated servers entirely because servers for intelligence agencies like IB, RAW , for banks etc can not put on cloud because of the confidential information it holds .
Hence cloud computing will not be able to replace dedicated servers

Yes cloud computing will reduce IT expenditure only if the following points are kept in mind:
1. ROI(Return of investment) should show profit
2. The application you plan to host on the Cloud is Cloud Compatible.
