Students have to apply for different colleges on the basis of the score they get. Different institutes accept different scores and after accepting the score, they call for the second round which consists of group discussions and interview.

Hello Bhargav, marks vary each year and hence percentile is the right criteria to look up to. You should have at least around 95-96 percentile to be able to get into B.K. Average package for 2016-17 batch was Rs 4.98 lakh as already said by Monali.

Hi Pooja, the highest scores in CMAT vary each year and hence it is not the scores but the percentile that will help you know your status for B.K. 2016-2017 (open category). Last admit for B.K was around 180-190 marks and for the year 2017-2018, the same was around 220-230 marks. These scores summed up to an average of 95 percentile in the respective years. So a percentile of 95-96 should be enough to get you into B.K.

Hi,
No, it's not compulsory. You can have direct admission in MCA with or without CMAT but it depends on institute and university's own discretion.
