The last year's NIBM CMAT cut-off was 73 percentile.
The last year's NIA CMAT cut-off was 70 percentile.

Yes, it definitely does. Securing a very high score in any MBA entrance exam not only ensures one of getting an interview call from a reputed B-school, but also strengthens one's chances of converting it(provided he/she performs well in those rounds).
