The cut-off marks for CMS Business School, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) are determined by the scores of national aptitude tests. The cut-off marks for 2023 are: 
  • MAT: 550 and above
  • NMAT: 160 and above
  • CAT: 50 percentile and above
  • GMAT: 50 percentile and above
The overall cut-off for NMAT is 60 percentile.CMS Business School considers the scores of the following exams: 
JET, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, GMAT. 
 
Candidates with a valid score are exempted from the online written test and qualify directly for PI.The cut-off score for May MAT 2023 is 550 and above.

To apply to CMS Business School, Jain (Deemed-to-be University), you must have an aggregate of 50% or above in your bachelor's degree. Students from the SC/ST community can apply with 45% marks in graduation. Students appearing in their final semester/year exams are also eligible to apply.
The minimum criteria is a Bachelor's degree in any discipline. So, a person who have just cleared 12th standard is not eligible for pursuing in CMS Buisness School.

Yes, you can join CMS Business School, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) without MAT: 
 
  • Candidates with a valid score in CAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, or GMAT are exempt from the written test of JET.
  • Candidates with a minimum 50% score in a Bachelor's degree are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates with a valid score qualify directly for PI.
But the candidate who has cleared MAT doesn't need to appear for the written test organised by the School.

The entrance exam for CMS Business School, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) in 2023 is the Jain Entrance Test (JET). The candidate must obtain the minimum cut-off percentage and above in the Degree Examination / Equivalent examination recognised by JAIN (Deemed-to-be University).The JET consists of: 
 
  • A written test
  • An essay writing section
  • A presentation
  • A personal interview
The written test is online, but the essay writing, presentation, and personal interview are in person. Applicants with valid scores from CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, or GMAT are exempt from the written test of the JET.
