KCT Coimbatore's official website states certain criteria based on which candidates are given preference during the MBA seat allocation process. As per the website, students who have participated in extracurricular activities during the UG courses are given preference. Other than this, in terms of entrance test scores, students from other states with MAT scores above 700 are given preference to promote diversity. In addition to this, students with a math background are also preferred.

Once the Kumaraguru College of Technology Coimbatore closes the application window, the admissions committee begins with the selection stage. For allocation of MBA seats, the institute first shortlists students based on entrance test scores. After that, students are required to take part in GD & PI rounds and also submit an SOP. Once all rounds are done, the institute extends offer letters to students who have performed well in all the rounds.
