There are many scholarships approved for nursing students. The Tamil Nadu government has provided different type of scholarships for SC/ST students, OBC students and also for the poorest students. For most nursing programmes, you need to have completed Class 12 from a recognised board. For B.Sc Nursing and GNM, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) in Class 12 is mandatory in most colleges. The minimum percentage required is usually 45% to 50% in PCB combined. For M.Sc Nursing, you need a B.Sc Nursing degree with at least 55% marks and usually one year of clinical experience.

• After selection, you will recieve call letter.

TNEA counselling session generally held in three batches on the basis of rank list released by TNEA. The dates of TNEA counselling session has not been announced yet. However, students can refer these tentative dates for preparation:

• Round 1 counselling session - July 20 to 24, 2026
• Round 2 counselling session - August 3 to 7, 2026
• Round 3 counselling session - August 17 to 21st, 2026

These dates includes choice filling and tentative allotments.

Yes KCT, Coimbatore provides lateral entry to BTech students. The duration for this course is three years. Students who have Diploma or Science graduates can directly apply to second year of BTech. However, the admission process for lateral entries are same as regular admission process. 

KCT, Coimbatore provides five specialisations in BTech courses. The specialisations are BTech in Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Fashion Technology, Information Technology and Textile Technology. Students interested in any of these specialisation can apply for BTech courses at KCT.
