If you have passed your Diploma in engineering from any Polytechnic in Maharashtra then you are definitely eligible for seeking admission directly into second year of four year degree course under lateral mode of admission. Of course to get admission in COEP, you need high scores in Diploma since this is the favorite college of many students.
