Admission to Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology (LICET) is competitive, with cutoffs for B.Tech programs are around the 42,000-44,000 range in recent years. For BE programs, the cutoffs can be higher, reaching around 162,000-173,000. Admission is primarily through TNEA counseling for government quota seats, and direct application for management quota seats.

Yes. VCET (Vivekananda College of Engineering and Technology, Puttur) is a recognised engineering college in Karnataka. It is affiliated to VTU, and approved by AICTE with few NBA-accredited programs. The college has a proper active placement cell with top recruiting companies (eg. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Bosch).The placement percentages is around ~80-90, and placement packages ranging from INR 12-15 LPA (the highest) to INR 4-6 LPA (Average).
