The selection criteria for the courses at TKM College of Engineering requires candidates to appear for various entrance exams such as KEAM or GATE. Candidates wishing to apply to the Architecture courses must appear for NATA.
Candidates are shortlisted based on their entrance performance, and they are then required to appear for the CAP DTE counselling.

The minimal requirement for the PG programmes at TKM College of Engineering is in accordance with university regulations. After passing the Class 12 exam, students must receive at least 50% of the possible points for the merit category in a three-year degree programme that includes mathematics, statistics, computer science, computer applications, engineering, and technology as major, secondary, or core subjects. Sri sunflower college of engineering and technology is famous because of their placement parters they have tie-up with top tech companies like tech Mahindra, idbi bank, Accenture, amazon etc. It is also famous for its fees the total fees for BTech is under 2 Lacs for whole 4 year program.

For institute level admission candidates are required to fill up the Admission Application Form available in the institute and submit the same along with necessary documents.
Provisional merit list of candidates seeking admission will be displayed as well as communicated.
Greivances, if any, should be addressed to the Principal.
Final merit will be declared and admission will be granted to the desirous candidates present.

The faculty at A.M. Reddy Memorial College is good, experienced, and helpful. They're strict but care about students. Some teachers are really knowledgeable, but a few might need more practical experience to share. Overall, they're pretty supportive.

The AP EAMCET exam is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU Kakinada). It is conducted for all colleges in Andhra Pradesh, not only for the A.M.Reddy Memorial College of Engineering and Technology. The results for admission in 2025 have already been declared on June 8, 2025.

A.M. Reddy Memorial College of Engineering and Technology alumni are working in top companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and IBM, as well as startups and various industries. They're doing pretty well for themselves! Many are also getting placed in core companies with decent salary packages. Overall, the college has a good alumni network.
