For the General category in 2024, the closing percentiles in Round 1 were roughly:

 

Computer Engineering: 70–71%

 

Electronics & Telecom: ~60.6%

 

Electrical Engineering: ~63%

 

Mechanical Engineering: ~52%

 

Civil Engineering: ~37.7%

 

 

So, if your MHT-CET score is above 60 percentile, you've good shot at popular branches, and a bit above 35–40 percentile can still get you Civil.

Candidates wishing to secure admission to the TKM College of Engineering cannot get direct admission. The admission process is entrance-based for the UG and PG programmes. Candidates are required to appear for various entrance exams such as the GATE, NATA, or KEAM. 
There is a 85% government quota in the seat intake and a 15% management quota.

Some of the documents required to fill out the application for TKM College of Engineering are:

Class 10 and Class 12 marksheet 
Graduation degree
Birth certificate
Passport-size photograph
Transfer certificate
Character certificate
Aaadhar Card

Documents/Cerificates from students are kept in college only upto the completetion of verification by the University and not retained thereafter.

Selection to this category of seats is done by the TKM College Trust from among the applications submitted by eligible candidates.

Candidates wishing to secure a seat at TKM College of Engineering must apply to entrance exams such as the KEAM, GATE, or NATA. The application fee for these entrance exams are: 

GATE: Female/SC/ST/PwD candidates: INR. 900 NIFT Shillong Courses 2025, Fee Structure & Admission
General/OBC candidates: INR 180

KEAM: The KEAM application fee ranges from INR 875 to INR 1,300, depending on the candidates category.
