Personal Suggestion: Girls should opt for navigation side, it's easy, comfortable and suitable for girls.

Sorry, I have never heard about Nirma University. But, I will give my opinion about Sastra University. Sastra University is a world class institutions at par with the best private institutions of India. In Tamil Nadu, it is one of the top 5 colleges. Plenty of research opportunities and placements are available. Culture of Sastra University is very good, as people of various states study here.

The college is not that good. Though it has an advantage due to its location. ICFAI-Dehradun has a slight edge.

I think Institute of Technology, Nirma University- Ahmedabad is better than DD University to pursue B.Tech in IC Engineering in every terms like training education and placements.
