Candidates, who have applied for various courses at Assam University, can check their admission results in the form of merit lists online on the official website of the university. Once released, fFollow the steps below to check the merit list through the official website: 

  • First, visit the Assam University admissions official portal.
  • Now on the home page of the portal & select the 'Notice Board' option.
  • After this, click on the merit list notification.
  • Subject-wise merit lists PDF will be displayed on the next page.

Assam University admission 2023 to BTech course is based on JEE Main 2023 ranks followed by JoSAA Counselling 2023. and further followed by CSAB Counselling. Candidates seeking admission to Assam University must appear for JEE Main along with meet the qualifying cutoff. Yes, Assam University offers an Integrated course combining both BSc and B.Ed. It is a four-year full-time course offered at Assam University. Candidates interested to take admission in the BSc B.Ed Integrated course at TU should have passed class 12 or SSC with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Also, students need to take the CUET-UG exam, which is required to take admission in most UG courses at Assam University, including the BSc B.Ed Integrated course. Yes, Assam University provides a four-year BSc B.Ed Integrated course which is a full-time programme. BSc B.Ed Integrated course is a popular course offered by Assam University. Candidates willing to take admission in the course described above at TU must take the CUET-UG exam conducted by NTA. After obtaining the NTA scorecard/ rank, students must register for the counselling process at Assam University admission portal.

Candidates whose NTA score is above the closing rank/ score will become further eligible for the counselling round and will finally lead to securing a seat in the BSc B.Ed Integrated course at Assam University.

Last date of applying for the counselling process at Assam University for B.Tech was 30th May. Trigun Sen School of Technology under Assam University accepts admission based on the candidate’s performance in JEE-Main, a national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA.

Also, for lateral entry to BTech, i.e. admission to direct 2nd year of BTech, candidates need to take Assam University own conducted exam through respective engineering department in which the candidate is willing to take admission and it is for those candidates who have done a three-year Diploma in engineering.

BTech is one of the popular courses of Assam University, which is offered across three domains. Trigun Sen School of Technology under Assam Univeristy have good standards of education, labs and placement records, and all these factors are worth considering.

Assam University offers two types of BTech courses: regular BTech, a four-year full-time course, and BTech (Lateral Entry), a three-year course only for candidates who have completed their Diploma in engineering in the relevant discipline.

Candidates willing to take admission in BTech at Assam University must take JEE-Main or Assam University Entrance Exam.

CUET-UG is a national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA whose score card/ rank helps in taking admission in all major UG courses besides BTech. Candidates willing to take admission in BTech must take the JEE-Main exam, which is also a national-level entrance exam but mainly for admission to BE/ BTech in various government and private universities and colleges.

Also, Assam University accepts admission in its BTech course based on the scorecard/ rank of JEE-Main. For lateral entry to BTech, the candidate needs to take Departmental entrance exam which is conducted by Assam University.

Assam University BTech admission is based on the candidate's performance in JEE-Main. Candidates willing to take admission in BTech at Assam University should have passed class 12 or SSC with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category)

Eligible candidates must take the JEE-Main examination and secure a good rank because only those applicants whose JEE-Main rank will be above the closing rank as specified in the merit list released by Assam University can proceed further with counselling process.

Candidates with a valid scorecard/ rank must register for counselling, followed by document verification and fee payment.
