Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) is really tough to get into: acceptance was at a lowly 17.5% for the entering Class of 2025, out of an applicant pool of over 26,000 students. The picture shows a very competitive atmosphere which has to be tackled only by those very fine in academics if they wish to get in.
The average GPA admitted has gone up to about 3.91, and average SAT score has been touched on 1540 out of 1600, with the middle 50% of students scoring between 1500 and 1570. On top of this CMU processes admission holistically, which includes extra-curricular qualifications, essays, and letters of recommandations along with academic

Although technically possible to enter a Federation University Australia MBA programme without work experience, it is, under most circumstances, not feasible as most MBA programmes in Australia, including at Federation University, usually require some amount of professional experience and so if a programme states it can provide an MBA without work experience, it could be a (potentially) different type of management programme entirely and not an authentic MBA.

As far as information is, Federation University Australia is, reasonably, a decent choice for an MBA, especially for those who want an applied, industry-oriented education with good chances of work after graduation, since the university has excellent postgraduation work prospects and is known to place high-performing job-ready graduates in Victoria, Australia; however, compared to the leading universities in the country, its general MBA ranking might not be so high.

A TOEFL iBT score of 85 is generally sufficient for many programs at Federation University Australia, which typically require scores between 79–93. However, some courses, like Nursing or Teaching, may need higher scores (e.g., 100+). Check the specific requirements for your program on the university's website. Also, note that TOEFL tests taken between July 26, 2023, and May 4, 2024, won't be accepted for Australian student visas.
