Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College accepts National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) scores for admission to its MBBS program. The minimum eligibility criterion for applying to the MBBS programme is to have 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as the core subjects. The final selection for the MBBS course is based on NEET score and performance in the interview. For MD/MS/PG Diploma programs, admission is based on the qualifying marks obtained in NEET PG, and for MCh admission, it is based on NEET SS conducted by NBE.

The application forms for every new academic session comes out mostly during the month of May after which the entrance examination of KAHER-AIET admit card is given out a month later and during that time the examination time is given by the authorities accordingly.

Yes one can join the KLE University directly through the management quota without having the entrance examination but the student must come from a Science background with physics, chemistry, biology or maths as their 10+2 subjects.
