BIT Patna: Scholarships 

BIT Patna offers two distinct scholarship programs for the students of BTech and BArch courses. Students are provided a tuition waiver based on their entrance examination rankings.

B.Tech Scholarship programme

• General category students having a JEE Mains ranking upto 1000 and SC/ST category students having rankings upto 5000 are provided a 100% tuition fee waiver.
• For general and SC/ST category students acquiring a rank of 1001-2500 and 5001-15000 respectively, a 75% tuition waiver is offered.

Admission to B.B.A. and B.C.A. is offered based on marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination. For BCA you have pass class XII examination from any recognised board with at least overall 50% marks. You also have to pass 10+2 examination with Science stream.

No, you don't have to appear for CUET to take admission in BIT Patna. You have to appear for JEE Mains and secure a good rank. After that, you have to sit in JOSAA/CSAB counselling to get into BIT Patna.

For M.Tech, you have to sit for GATE and secure a rank and then apply to get into BIT Patna.

BIT Patna Admissions 2024: The college offers admissions at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Candidates aspiring for BIT Patna B.E./B.Arch admissions need to qualify for JEE Main. Qualified candidates are offered admissions based on AIR in JEE Main through CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board)/JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).

Computer labs, Library, Bank with an ATM, Health center, Transport facility, and Canteen .

Some say the Mechanical Engineering branch is interesting and that the Automobile team is well-known in Patna. The CSE branch is the best because of the lack of pressure and maximum placement. Some also say the MBA programme has good faculty and placements .

Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Patna offers on-campus placement opportunities for students after the sixth semester. According to some reviews,  the college is good for placements and has a placement rate of 75–85%. The average salary package is around 6.5–7 LPA, with the highest salary offered at 10 LPA. Some say that the highest package offered on campus is 28 LPA, and the highest off-campus placement is 45 LPA .

The BSc application fee at IIT Patna is INR 1,500. The fee is refundable and must be paid once the BSc registration form is completed.
