It is one of the top universities in the state of Bihar. Students pursuing BCA from Patna University are also open to placement drives conducted by the university. Many industry giants recruit from this university as well. Some of the top recruiters of Patna University are Futures Group, ITC Group, Wipro, Azim Premji Foundation, etc. BCA is one of the popular courses of Patna University offered through affiliated colleges.

Yes, the students seeking admission have to appear for PUCET. The entrance exam is conducted in offline mode i.e. pen and paper test. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria before applying for admission for Patna University Entrance Exam. Students who are found ineligible at the time of the admission process, will not be allowed to proceed further in the process. After qualifying PUCET, aspirants are required to pay the programme fee to confirm their seat in the university.

The university allows students to apply via both online and offline mode. To submit the form in offline mode, students need to visit the university campus and collect the form in person. While in online mode, applications can be simply submitted by visiting the Patna University official website.
