The students can compare the college and university based on certain parameters. Students of COCAS Magadh University UG (3-year) received a median package of INR 3 LPA as per NIRF report 2023. While BCom students of Patna University received a median package of INR 3.5 LPA. This is however, as per unofficial sourced and hence, is indicative. Thus, both the universities are equally good for students.

To apply offline at Amity University Patna, you'll need to download the application form from the official Amity University Patna website, print it out, fill it in carefully, attach all required documents, and submit it to the university campus, along with the application fee. You can also obtain the application form by purchasing an admission pack from the university's admission office.

Indeed, the Chandragupt Institute of Management (CIMP) Patna is seen as a top-notch option to pursue an MBA-equivalent PGDM. The institute was instituted in 2008 with official support and has AICTE approval and accreditation by NBA. It is also consistently ranked amongst the top Indian B-schools, featuring, for instance, #101-125 in NIRF 2024 rankings and #49 in IIRF 2025 rankings. The institute has a great placement record with 100% placement for its 2022–24 batch of PGDM, with more than 25 companies visiting and a median package of ?7.5 LPA. CIMP is pretty decent when it comes to placements for the regular PGDM program—companies do come in, and the average package is around INR 6 LPA – INR 7 LPA. But when it comes to the PGDM in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Venture Development, it's a bit different. Since the course is more startup-focused, traditional placements aren't as strong. It's a good fit if you're serious about building your own venture, but if you're mainly looking for campus placements, the core PGDM has better options.
