Basically, for applying to ICAR in B.Sc Agriculture at the Bhola Paswan Shastri Agricultural College, there is a fair enough ranking required for almost all of the courses. In fact, the ranking position changes every year because it would actually depend on the availability of seats and also the performance of everyone in the exam.
Being in the top few hundred ranks is a good place to be in, especially for those from the General category, if you are targeting a safe seat. This ranking will vary and is subject to change with regard to your category and the number of seats allocated.

The percentage of marks for the General Category ranges between 78-82% for the academic session 2020-2021 and 74-78% for 2019-2020. For the Reserved Category, the cutoff marks have been 68-72% for the year 2020-2021 and 64-68% for the year 2019-2020 for the students to be eligible for admission.

Following is CUET cutoff for CIMAGE College 2023:

- For BBA: They have expected their marks between 120-140 for the General Category, 100-120 for OBC Categories and 90-110 for SC/ST Categories.
- For BCA: These ranges are 110-130, 90-110, and 80-100 The general caste, OBC caste, the SC / ST caste respectively.
- For BCom: The numbers of marks to be obtained For General category would be 100 – 120 while for other categories like OBC, it would be 80- 100 and for SC/ST, the numbers of marks should be maximum 90- 70.

The median salary for B.Tech students at Birla Institute of Technology Patna is as low as INR 5. 7 LPA only. The leading recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and HCL providing packages of INR 3. 5 to 9 LPA. The highest package of INR 9 LPA was up for grabbing through various companies including Microsoft and Amazon. Computer Science and Electronics students gets slightly a better average of around INR 6. 5 LPA while mechanical and civil engineering students get an average of around INR 4. 5 LPA. The admission procedure to Birla Institute of Technology, Patna is fairly tough but there is stiff competition as well. For admission, the institute considers the marks of national level entrance examination such as JEE Main for B.Tech and B.Arch, GATE for M.Tech and again CAT for MBA.
