The Outstanding International Student Award is one of the most popular scholarships at UBC. The award for this scholarship ranges between CAD 10,000 and CAD 25,000 (INR 6.00L - 15L) per year. The minimum eligibility for the Outstanding International Student Award is:

  • New student to UBC, entering directly from secondary school
  • An international student on a Canadian study permit
  • Demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and intellectual promise, as well as impressive extracurricular and community involvement
  • Not being nominated for a need-based and-merit-based International Scholars award
