Yes, the Saskatchewan Polytechnic takes the interview round for admission purposes. The interviews are conducted at the SIAST based on an invitation only, after a complete review of the online application form is received. Students who are selected in as per their application submitted online are asked for an interview through the mail to make a financial decision.

The interviews conducted are only based on the general details to evaluate and understand the goal of the student to choose the course and their understanding of the course for the future.

The application fee is non refundable requirement at Saskatchewan Polytechnic for all applicants. Students are required to pay application fee of CAD 150 - INR 9.3 K for both UG and PG courses.

For admission it is suggested that students must pay their application fee as application will not be considered complete without application fee submission and will not be taken for selection procedure.

Yes, getting health insurance is a major requirement for studnets to study at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, especially for international applicants. International students applying for admission to study in Canada are required to hold an overseas health insurance as a visa requirement and a university or college requirement. Moreover, Saskatchewan Polytechnic provides free health coverage for students with study permits for the basics.

It is advised to the international studnets that they should check whether their health insurance is valid overseas with their health insurance provider

No international students who are applying at Saskatchewan Polytechnic are required to submit original records during the time of application submission for institute or even for visa.

Saskatchewan Polytechnic requires scanned copy of documents required during the time of application submission. The SIAST may require original documents for verification purposes after confirmation of the enrollment.
