There are no such discrete placement data available openly. And moreover, for M.Tech it is really tough to get the placement records. If you still feel like trying, then you can contact the training and placements cell, IITD.

Hello Kapil, It is a very good query that you have raised. What to do after class 12th? The trend of parents is MBBS or engineering. Former is very tough and for the later, situation is grim with almost 50% fresh graduates not finding placements. I would rather advise you to have a look at different alternative career opportunities. Law, mass communication, fine arts, literature, commerce, hotel management, pilot, etc. But fundamentally, you must select the path which you like most, which fascinates you. Let me assure you that hard work in any stream will take you places.
