You can buy any book for the entrance purposes, as different universities have different way of conducting their exams. But still, if you wish to buy something buy Arihant publication book for MA preparation.

With 70% marks, it is difficult to get admission in Delhi University, unless you belong to a reserved category. So, better apply for some other colleges and universities too.

Hi,
As it is an open university, it won't provide any placements. But, it will be beneficial to the people working in government companies for getting a promotion by getting a degree. Most of the companies will prefer to take the students even though it is an open degree, because of the quality provided by the IGNOU.

That's great. However, the percentage of your best four subjects will be calculated in order to determine whether you are eligible or not, that'd be including English as well as the subject you wish to pursue your degree in. The cut-offs will be announced sometime around June-July.

Hi,
The system does not see individual subject marks as a criterion. It seeks your best of four percentage including English and the subject you wish to pursue your degree in. Calculate your best of four percentage and wait for the cut-off to be announced sometime around late June or early July.
