The TU Berlin University is public university in Berlin, Germany. It is centrally located in district of Charlottenburg in heart of City West. The university is spread across various locations in city, which spans together around an area of 604000 sqm. One of largest technical universities in Germany, in Winter semester 2024 - 25, over 10000 foreign nationals were enrolled at TU Berlin. 

The Technical University of Berlin offers over 150 programs. It is one of the largest, internationally renowned technical universities in Germany. Around 35,000 students study at this university. Though the present name of TU Berlin was established in 1946, but its history goes past institutions such as the Mining Academy, the Building Academy, and the Vocational Academy that were founded in 1770, 1779, and 1821 respectively. In the year 1879, the latter two united to form the Royal Technical College and were joined later by the Mining Academy. Finally, in 1946, the former Technical College Berlin – Charlottenburg in the British Military Sector of Berlin was re-established as the Technical University of Berlin.
