All admissions for IHM Meerut are based on the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology-Joint Entrance Exam (NCHMCT-JEE) and academic merit. For the BHMCT course, applicants are required to apply for the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE).

IHM Meerut is one of India’s prominent Hotel Manager Institute. I can vouch for it as I have been to several institutes and belong to Meerut. Apart from building and infrastructure, it is the commitment level of the Institution's management that builds my trust in IHM Meerut. It is one of the oldest Institutions, situated in a lush green campus, where students come from all over India. Their transformation to a 'service industry' professional is quite phenomenal and it shows in spectacular placement records. It is a good place to learn and start building a career.

The Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition has not released the placement statistics for 2023 yet. However, as per the official website, 62% and 26% of students were placed in Hotel Industry and Travel & Tourism Industry, respectively.
