The cell arranges campus interviews, training sessions and workshops to improve the skill of students. The average placement rate of the college is 70%. The highest package offered till now is INR 13.6 LPA and some of the top recruiting companies Byju's, TCS, and HCL.

The quality of food in the hostel mess of babu banarsi Das institute of technology ( BBDIT) is average. Students often say that the food is simple and edible but not very tasty. Sometimes food is repetitive and lacks variety. Hygiene is maintained to a basic level, but it could be better . Some days special meals are provided
