Living in the hostel at *IHM, Chennai*, is not a compulsion. IHM provides only *very few hostel facilities* to its students of both genders inside its campus. For allotment to the hostel, the institute mainly favors the B.Sc. students.

The fee structure for boys and girls hostels at IMS Engineering college is same but varies as per it's rooms. The double-sharing non-AC rooms are for 1,05,000 INR and the double- sharing, AC rooms are for 1,35,000 INR and along with mess it's 1,40,000 INR. Fee is paid in 3 installments.

Candidates must have passed intermediate exam without any grace marks of U.P. Board or 10+2 level exam or its equivalent from any recognised Board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject; and anyone of Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/Biology/ Technical Vocational as optional subject.

As per the placement report given by the college, the highest package till now is INR 55 Lacs per annum. That was the greatest placement of that college.
In the future, it might increase to INR 70 LPA. There is a possible chance and the placements ratio is also gradually increasing year by year.

No, IMS Engineering College does not provide 100% scholarships for students. But, you can get a fee concession of INR 15000 every year that too if any student is your sibling in that same college. There will be a sports scholarship for those who have won prizes in the national level or international level.
