The subjects included in the first year of BSc at IHM Goa provide students with a basic understanding of Hospital and Hotel Administration. Additionally, these subjects generate foundational understanding about the course, for the students to make it more understandable. Some of the subjects taught are as follows:

Students who apply for withdrawal on or before June 30 of the admission year, receive full refund of the academic fee after deduction of INR 1,000 as processing charge. Further, there is deduction from the hostel fee based on the duration of the stay of student in the hostel. Students withdrawing from the course after June 30 of the admission year are not eligible for the refund.

The following were the NEET MDS 2023 cutoff marks for Goa University: General-PwD applicants needed to score at least 255, while candidates in the general category needed to achieve at least 272. The cutoff was established at 238 for applicants in the OBC, SC, and ST categories, including those with impairments. To be eligible for admission, these scores are necessary.
