The modes of Goa Institute of Management (GIM Goa) course admission are online and offline. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance examination scores. The accepted entrance exams are CAT, XAT, and others. Students applying through the CAT must first register for the CAT exam. Then appear for the CAT exams. Goa University conducts a Common Law Admission Test (GU-CLAT) for admission to BA LLB programme. Besides, candidates must also Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST and 42% aggregate for OBC) for BA LLB admission. The university releases a merit list based on HSc and GU-CLAT scores of the aspirants with 50% weightage to each of them.

Candidates need to pass one-year master's degree after a four-year bachelor's degree or a two year master's degree after a three-year bachelor's degree with at least 55% aggregate or its equivalent grade to apply for PhD course at Goa Unievrsity. There is a 5% relaxation in the aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ PwD candidates)

Aspirants who have completed MPhil programme with a minimum of 55% aggregate can also apply.

Goa University conducts a Qualifying Entrance Test or QET for admission to ME courses. QET is a two hour test of 100 marks. Aspirants who qualify QET are shortlisted for admission to ME programme. Besides, candidates must also complete graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate to apply for ME.

The total tuition fee for Goa University ME ranges between INR 1.1 lakh and INR 2.8 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. The total fee of ME includes multiple components such as caution deposit, tuition fee, exam fee, etc. Besides, aspirants also need to pay an application fee of INR 700 (INR 350 for SC/ ST of Goa) for ME.

Yes, Goa University offers merit scholarships to students pursuing a UG, PG or a PhD course. Candidates need to secure at least 60% aggregate in the qualifying exam in Arts, Commerce and Management or a minimum 65% aggregate in the Science stream to apply for the Merit Scholarship offered at the university.
