Galgotias University follows a fairly strict attendance policy and students are generally required to maintain at least 75% attendance. Falling below the required attendance may affect eligibility for internal assessments and semester examinations. Attending classes regularly also helps students benefit from practical sessions, workshops and continuous learning.

If your priority is placement opportunities, I would recommend CSE over ECE at Galgotias University. CSE students generally have access to a larger pool of software and IT recruiters and the university's placement ecosystem is particularly strong for CSE and related specializations. Official placement data also highlights a broad recruiter base and significant hiring in tech roles.
That said, whichever branch you choose, your coding skills, projects, internships and interview preparation will have a major impact on your placement outcomes.

Honestly, yeah, the industry ties here are solid. As a second year engineering student, I have already seen great perks like hands on access to our Apple iOS and drone labs. Plus, giants like Infosys and AWS actively collaborate for workshops and hackathons giving us massive real world exposure early on.

Hey! As a 2nd-year CSE student here, the OBC cutoff varies each year with JEE Main ranks and UPTAC rounds, but aiming under 2-2.5 Lacs is usually safe. Honestly, the coding culture and tech exposure we get make the hustle completely worth it!

Yes, you can absolutely get a great placement! Being in our 2nd year is the perfect time to start hitting the labs. If you make full use of the Apple iOS dev lab, drone setups, and clubs like TechnoJam, you'll build the exact hands-on portfolio tech companies fight over. Stick with it!

No, Galgotias University doesn't offer a distance or correspondence LL.M. Since I'm in my second year here, I know firsthand that our law programs are strictly full-time and on-campus to ensure we get proper practical exposure and classroom interaction. You'll have to look at regular mode here!
