Yes, I'd say Galgotias University can be worth the fees for B.Tech CSE, especially if you compare it with other private colleges in Greater Noida in a similar fee range. The current university fee for several B.Tech CSE specializations is ₹1.64 lakh tuition per year, plus ₹20,000 annual exam fees and some additional charges.
What makes it worthwhile is the combination of campus facilities, technical events, clubs, projects, internships, and placement opportunities. One thing I didn't expect to enjoy so much was participating in student-led technical events and hackathons. I initially thought they would mostly be about competition, but the actual experience of working with different people, dividing tasks, and trying to solve a problem under a deadline was pretty fun. You also end up learning things that aren't covered in regular classes. For me, those activities made campus life feel less focused on academics and gave me a chance to discover interests I didn't know I had.

There is no fixed JEE Main cutoff rank published by Galgotias University. JEE Main scorers get preference in the merit list, but admission is also possible based on the university's eligibility criteria. For B.Tech CSE, GU currently lists 60% in the relevant Class 12 subjects. So, you don't need a specific JEE rank to apply.

1. Don't wait for college to teach you everything.
This is probably the biggest one. Classes are important, but if you're pursuing B.Tech, especially CSE/AI & ML, you need to learn beyond the syllabus. Start with programming fundamentals and gradually move toward DSA, development, databases, or whatever area interests you.

If you mean 200 marks in JEE Main, then yes, you have a very strong chance of getting admission to Galgotias University, provided you meet the Class 12 eligibility criteria for your chosen B.Tech branch. For B.Tech CSE, Galgotias currently requires 60% in the specified Class 12 subjects, and JEE Main scores are given preference in the merit list.
A 200/300 JEE Main score would generally be considered a strong score, so you should be in a good position for Galgotias. If you meant 200 marks in Class 12, tell me your PCM percentage and I'll check your eligibility.
