Among both, DCE is the best because DCE is a government college.
PIET is also good in terms of placements for B.Tech but DCE is the best.

The semester wise grade point average is known as SGPA.
It is calculated as follows-
≥80 but ≤ 100 - Grade O; Grade Point 10
≥70 but < 80 - Grade A+; Grade Point 9
≥60 but < 70 - Grade A; Grade Point 8
≥55 but < 60 - Grade B+; Grade Point 7
≥50 but < 55 - Grade B; Grade Point 6
≥45 but < 50 - Grade C; Grade Point 5
≥40 but < 45 - Grade P (Pass); Grade Point 4
< 40 - Grade F (Fail); Grade Point 0
Absent - Grade Ab (Absent); Grade Point 0
From this data, SGPA will be calculated using the formula, SGPA = Total Grade Points/Total course credits.
The Total Grade point average of whole Course is called CGPA. It will be calculated from the average SGPA of total number of semesters in that Course or using the formula,
CGPA = Total Grade Points of all subjects of all semesters/Total course credits of all courses of all semesters.

Each subject carries 100 marks. The breakup of 100 marks is - 80 marks for the final examination and 20 marks are internal.
These 20 marks include marks of attendance, projects and assignments, sessional examination and class performance.
The sessional examinations are held once or twice every semester, depending upon the days left for final examination. The sessional exams cover approximately 75% of the total syllabus and are of 40 marks but the weightage of sessional exams is 5 marks in the 20 marks of internal. If the student fails to appear in their sessional examination, they are not given another chance to improve their score. Thei

There is no best course per say. You should choose a course as per your Class XI and XII stream or whatever your interest is.
The college provides a wide range of courses from all streams on both UG as well as PG level. The faculty of all the departments is great and well versed in their fields.
Just opt a course you have an interest in and put all your efforts into studying and you will find your own course as the best one there is, irrespective of the college.

DPGDC has one of the greatest faculties. The faculty of all departments are well versed in their fields and some are university rank holders themselves.
They are all very knowledgeable and actually care about their students as well as their studies and marks. Apart from academics, they all also help the students in career guidance and regularly share tips and notes for examinations.
