The Guwahati University MBA placement details will be updated here as soon as released. The University has released the overall placement data for PG (2-year) courses. Out of 1,951 PG (2-year) graduates 421 were placed during the 2023 drive. Earlier, 398 out of 1,971 students were placed during 2022 placements. Further, the median package for PG (2-year) courses has improved year-on-year from 2021 to 2023. Take a look at the below table depicting the PG (2-year) Gauhati University placement trends:

Over the past three years (2021 to 2023), the number of BTech and PG (2-year) students placed has improved. The Guwahati University highest package is not out on the official website. However, the University has disclosed the course-wise median package in the NIRF report 2024. During 2023 placements, the highest median package stood at INR 8.70 LPA and was bagged by PG (2-year) students. In order to get admission in IIT Guwahati for BTech course, the student need to provide valid JEE Main score. Admission to BTech at IIT Guwahati is purely based on the score obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam followed by JoSAA counselling. In 2013, the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Guwahati was founded.It was rated 112 for BTech in the NIRF 2022. It was rated 723rd in India and 11019th in the world in 2023.The Indian parliament designated IIIT Guwahati as a "Institute of National Importance" in July 2017.The only IIIT in PPP mode to rank in the top 200 in this category.

According to various evaluations, placements at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Guwahati (IIIT Guwahati) are good. IIIT Guwahati is one of the twenty new IIITs settled under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP). And the candidates who want to enroll in IIIT Guwahati must pass various competitive exams. The JEE MAIN exam, which is administered by NTA, must be passed with a very high score in order to be considered for admission to B.E. or B.Tech program. And One must pass the GATE exam with a high score in order to get admitted to the M.Tech program.
