Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) is located in Solan, Himachal Pradesh. It was founded in the year 2002. Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), also known as JUIT Solan, basis its admission through a merit based system or entrance exams for certain courses. Undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degrees in a variety of subjects are available at JUIT Solan. These programmes include BTech, MTech, MSc, and PhD. National-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, and so on are used to determine admissions. JUIT offer a full-time BE/BTech programme (4-Years). Students need to score highly on the JEE Main exam in order to be admitted to this program. The JEE Mains shortlisted candidates are invited for the JoSAA counselling.

The highest and average compensation packages for the BTech programme during placements in 2023 at Jaypee University of Information Technology, respectively, were INR 44.14 LPA and INR 7.01 LPA. During JUIT placements 2023, 289 absolute offers, out of a total of 494 offers were made to 336 BTech students who took part.
