Master’s degree in any branch of Engineering /Technology from a recognised university with at least 60% aggregate is the eligibility criteria for PhD in JUIT Solan.  

The first year fee for the BTech programme is INR 2.2 Lacs at JUIT Solan.

The institute offers PhD courses in the streams of Engineering, Science, Humanities & Social Sciences. The application fee for MS by Research/ PhD is INR 200 and INR 100 for General/ EWS/ OBC/ OBC (NCL)/ Transgender/ Foreign Nationals and Women/ SC/ ST/ PD, respectively. JEE application fee for boys is INR 1,000, INR 800 for girls, and INR 500 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category students. Candidates applying for MTech, need to pay GATE application fee for boys, which is INR 1,700, INR 850 for girls, and INR 850 for SC/ST/PwD category students. Only after the payment of application fees, the form is successfully submitted.
