Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 3834 and closing rank was 4089. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 1333 and 8467. Admission to B.Tech. in Data Science and Engineering in IIT Mandi - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

Both the Universities are well regarded and reputed institutions not in Himachal Pradesh but in whole country. But both can be compared on various basis such as faculty, infrastructure, research opportunities or placements.

The Central University of Himachal Pradesh is best which provides lots of facilities and best opportunities for you.The CUHP has total 55 courses for MBA of 2 years duration and the total fees is 9,600 which is worth according to its facilities and best level of Knowledge which is provided. The overall staff and the campus is very well organized and most importantly, they are very supportive. The CUHP also provides the top and high package placements with more than 2.50 lakh.

IIT Mandi - Indian Institute of Technology will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cut off rank in Round 6 for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering is 13850 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission at IIT Mandi - Indian Institute of Technology.
