I don't know about DIT but Chitkara is very good in terms of crowd, placements and academics. Faculty here is very good.

As I have heard SRM Sonipat is not that good. Chitkara is very good in terms of placement, crowd and academics. The faculty here are highly educated and are very kind hearted. They are always ready to help the students.

Both are same in terms of academics. I would highly recommend you to join HP campus as it has many benefits apart from studies:
1)In the lap of mountains (scenic mountains view)
2)Totally pollution free environment
3)Mess food is better than that students
4) Less crowd
Even more, one of my friend's brother graduated from Punjab campus. He recommended my friend to take HP campus!
