Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 11843 and closing rank was 13711 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 19077 and 20059. Admission to Computer Science Engineering in IIEST Shibpur is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. IIEST Shibpur offers various facilities to postgraduate and undergraduate students. Some of the facilities provided by the college are a big library that was established in April 1857, computer centre, guest house, a hospital & CMS, and others. The institute has one guest house established inside the campus. The college has 10 double-bedded AC rooms and two single-bedded AC rooms.
