of course NIT Manipur is amongst the newly formed NIT's. But be assured that the staff is excellent. They also have fire in them to show to the world that they are no pushovers. In view of this all, I would say that if you are getting your desired branch in this NIT then you should take it. Best wishes to you.

Based on previous year cut-offs, in NIT Manipur you have no chance of admission if you're not from home state. So, try for NIT in your home state. For detailed info of previous year opening and closing ranks of different institute visit JoSAA website.

To be clear I don't think so but there might be chances, you can compare your rank with previous year stats of closing rank at NIT Manipur in opening and closing rank tab on JoSAA. Nic. In. Your AIR is low so if you are planning to prepare and try again then be focused and try your level best and if you are planning to join college this year then you can give it a try in counselling. Best wishes for your future.

Admission is based on JAM exam and after that you have to participate in the counselling naming CCMN and if the seats still get left then there is also a spot round for left seats but chances of this are less. Hope you find your answer.
