General Eligibility: To be eligible for a BTech course under the PSG College of Technology, a General Category candidate should have obtained a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
Reserved Category Relaxation: Candidates from the BC, MBC, SC, or ST categories should have a minimum aggregate of 40% marks in PCM to be considered for BTech.
The "Cut-off": While these marks are a basic eligibility criterion to allow you to apply, admission to PSG College of Technology is highly merit-based. High marks are a necessity to be competitive with thousands of other applicants through the TNEA process.

Yes, non-native students can apply for BTech at PSG College of Technology, but some rules do apply. If you studied Class 8 -12 in Tamil Nadu, you are automatically eligible. If not, you must provide a Nativity Certificate or meet the criteria for children of Central or State Government employees serving in the state. Alternatively, a limited number of seats are available under the "Other State Quota" or through the management quota.

To secure a seat for PSG College of Technology BTech, register online through the TNEA portal, usually starting in May. After your school certificates are verified by a Facilitation Centre, TNEA releases a rank list based on your Class 12 marks. The most vital part is the online counselling phase, where you must select PSG College of Technology as your top preference to improve your chances.

ISU BA admissions are primarily merit-based. The Personal Interview (PI) is the final stage to check the fit of the candidate for the program. During the PI, faculty members typically evaluate:
Communication Skills: Your ability to express ideas clearly and confidently.
General Awareness: Your knowledge of current events or basic concepts related to your chosen specialisation, BA in Hospitality Management or BA in Culinary Arts.
Aptitude & Passion: For creative BA tracks such as Culinary Arts, they may look for a genuine interest in the industry and any past extracurricular achievements.
