For animation, LPU looks like a stronger option when placement and career exposure are considered together. Its animation curriculum includes hands-on projects, industry interaction, workshops and practical learning, which can help students build a portfolio along with their degree. The latest placement report from LPU's School of Design also mentions packages up to INR23.25 LPA in animation, VFX, gaming and related creative fields.

At 92.96 percentile, it makes sense to wait for the April JEE Main result before deciding. If the percentile improves enough for LNMIIT and the overall course, fees and location suit you, it can be considered. Otherwise, LPU is also worth comparing because of its industry-oriented curriculum, practical exposure and focus on career outcomes. The final choice should depend on the branch and the actual opportunities available, not only on percentile.

Your options depend on your category and stream. With your JEE Main percentile of 87, making top NITs/IIITs difficult, but state engineering colleges, lower-tier GFTIs, or private universities are open for you.

Your CUET score of 348, you can try admission to lower-demand programs or regional central universities.

With a  KCET rank of 52504 with 2A category, you have moderate chance of getting a seat in lower-demand branches (like Civil or Mechanical Engineering) at JSS Science at Technology University, Mysuru or JSS Academy of Technical Education, Bengaluru during the later rounds of KEA counselling, but getting the top branches like CSE or ECE will be difficult.

QS releases advance rankings for the upcoming year which is why the QS 2027 rankings have already been published online. As per the QS World University Rankings 2027, the institute is ranked 349 under Top Global Universities category.

RVCE remains the top choice for placements, but PES University (Ring Road Campus) has overtaken MSRIT and BMSCE in recent years specifically for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) packages and tech hiring. Don't just go by name, check recent placement data too.

IIT Guwahati JEE Advanced cutoff 2026 has been released for Round 5 admission to BTech. The Round 5 cutoff ranged from 822 for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering to 12170 for BTech in Biosciences and Bioengineering. Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive BTech branch for IIT Guwahati admission General-All India category.

With an AIR 1762 rank in stream 1, you have decent chance of getting admission to ECE at Sastra University.

For admission at Indus University, you need to pass 10+2 with aminimum of 45% to 50%. The seat intake is around 60 students per batch.
