IMI Bhubaneswar University is one of the eminnet university. The courses is accredited by AMBA, NBA, USBES, and NAAC and approved by AICTE and AIU. IMI Bhubaneswar is a member of AMDISA, Confederation of Indian Industry, EFMD, and AIMS (Association of Indian Management Schools). The institute has well-trained expert faculty members. The institute has well-equipped infrastrcture which includes classrooms, auditoriums, computer center, library, SAP lab, sports complex, cafeteria, etc.

The mode of application at Institute of Management at Nirma University is online with students able to apply through the university page as long as the course eligibility is completed. No, Institute of Management at Nirma University does not offer direct admissions and does not reserve any seats under special management quota. As such students must get admission purely on merit alone with entrance exam scores, Personal Interview rounds or past academic merit being taken into account for deciding admissions.

After students complete the respective course eligibility for Institute of Management at Nirma University courses. Students will be selected through:
- BBA: IPMAT score (50%), Personal Interview (30%), Class 12 score (20%).
- MBA: Common Admission Test (60%), Personal Interview (20%), Theme Development & Presentation (10%), Academic Performance (10%).
- PhD: Entrance Test, Viva-voce and Personal Interview.

To be eligible for admissions to the MBA programme of Institute of Management at Nirma University students must meet the eligibility of having graduated from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Though the programme depends on other factors for admissions such as Personal Interview, Entrance exam scores, etc.

The MBA fees for Institute of Management at Nirma University consists of different annual fees which are:
- Tuition Fees of INR 6.4 Lakhs
- Activity Fees of INR 15K
- Examination Fees of INR 11K
These fees must be paid though students may be able to get certain fee concession, scholarships, etc. to lower the total amount. While the hostel fees are INR 94.4K annually.
