For MCA at LPU, you need a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with mathematics or statistics at 10+2 or graduation level. Candidates with a CS/IT background (like BCA or B.Sc CS/IT) are also eligible. Admission is through LPUNEST or other accepted entrance tests, followed by counselling. Candidates without prior maths or computer exposure may need bridge courses.
In short:

For me, LPU is the better choice because of its modern campus, updated labs, and strong industry exposure. Students gain real experience through projects, workshops, and internships. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Infosys, and TCS visit regularly, with CSE and IT packages averaging ₹6–8 LPA and top packages going up to ₹50 LPA. MBM is also respected, but LPU provides wider exposure to current industry practices and practical learning, helping students prepare well for their careers.
