Yes, a medical certificate is compulsory to get admission into BSc courses at HIMT Chennai. Candidates need to produce a certificate of medical fitness issued by a D.G. Shipping-approved doctor. This document is required to be submitted at the time of admission, when the applicant is selected. This BSc course is offered in Nautical Science. Thus, this certificate plays an important role in shortlisting the candidates.
