No, students can not get direct admisison at Jagran Lakecity University. Admission is typically based on a combination of merit (qualifying exam scores) and performance in the JLU Entrance Test (JLUET) or other national-level entrance exams like CLAT, LSAT, or JEE Main for specific programs. Candidates are evaluated based on their performance in the qualifying examination.

In MBA/PGDM in School of Management Studies, JNTUH, a valid score in the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS-ICET) is the first scheme of selection. The applicants should also have the eligibility of a Bachelor Degree of at least 50 percent marks (45 percent marks in the BC category). The process of admissions is concluding which is carried out by the centralised counselling carried out by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education and this is followed by document verification.

The cost of pursuing the programme in MBA/PGDM in School of Management Studies, JNTUH can vary in 60000 to 200000 range at end of 2 years. This is subject to a minor variation depending on the particular MBA programme (e.g. collaborations) and does not necessarily have to include other fee such as examination fee and hostel fee.

The hostel charges at JNTUH including the School of Management Studies are variable. A refundable caution deposit (usually about 12,000 rupees plus a monthly rent is normally charged to students particularly those who are of the Telangana state although in other states it costs more). There are around 2,000 rupees per month as rent (not including mess charges) in ISH and RSQ2 hostels. Mess fees have to be paid separately, and tend to be 2,100 - 3,000/month. According to some sources, the annual hostel fee is about 28,000 (Rs).

School of Management Studies is one of the constituent units of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH). JNTUH itself is a publicly/government University which is created by an act of the State Legislature. So the School of Management Studies is working under a government institution. This institution is best in terms of placement.
