No, BITS Pilani doesn't offer direct admission. BITSPilani doesn't have any management quota, and the admissions are entirely merit-based. Candidates are required to either appear for the exams conducted by BITS Pilani or appear for the national-level accepted exams, such as CAT, GATE, etc.

Yes KCT, Coimbatore provides lateral entry to BTech students. The duration for this course is three years. Students who have Diploma or Science graduates can directly apply to second year of BTech. However, the admission process for lateral entries are same as regular admission process.

KCT, Coimbatore provides five specialisations in BTech courses. The specialisations are BTech in Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Fashion Technology, Information Technology and Textile Technology. Students interested in any of these specialisation can apply for BTech courses at KCT.
