Yes, the placement information is available publicly, and from what I have seen, GIBS Bangalore has reported an average package of around 8–9 LPA and the highest package going up to around 20 LPA in recent years.

I did my studies at GIBS, and honestly, what impressed me was not just the highest package number. The college puts a lot of focus on helping students prepare for placements through mock interviews, aptitude training, presentations, internships, and industry interactions.

For me, the bigger thing was that students from different backgrounds were able to get good opportunities. Some got higher packages, some got average packages, but overall there were opportunities available for students who actively participated and worked on their skills.

And from GIBS, I truly got;

• Regular placement training sessions

• Mock interviews and aptitude preparation

• Industry exposure through events and guest lectures

• Internship opportunities

• Support from the placement team

At the end of the day, I felt happy with the outcome because I got a good opportunity myself, and many of my friends also started their careers with decent packages. That's why whenever someone asks me about GIBS, I usually say the placement support and exposure were good parts of my experience. 

LPU has this pretty solid placement ecosystem for MBA students, with recruiters coming in from various sectors like banking, FMCG, consulting, IT, e-commerce, and financial services ,and they do visit the campus. In some recent placement seasons, the highest MBA package went up to INR 49.4 LPA, and the top 10% of MBA students had an average package of INR 13.6 LPA. Now between Marketing and Tourism & Hospitality ,I'd nudge you toward Marketing if you want wider career mobility, because it basically opens a few or rather doors across nearly every field, including FMCG , retail , digital marketing, banking, and consulting. Tourism & Hospitality is a fine option if you're more drawn to the hospitality and travel ecosystem, plus service roles in particular .

If you're looking at banking, investment, wealth management, fintech, or capital markets in general, then an MBA in Financial Markets from LPU might feel like a worthwhile call. The whole thing mixes core management foundations with topics such as equity and debt market(s), financial analysis, investment strategies and risk management, not to forget internships , live projects, and some real industry interaction too. LPU also maintains a solid placement ecosystem and corporate partnerships, which can give students practical exposure, kind of early. Like any MBA, the end result still depends a lot on what you learn, the certifications you pick up, the internships you actually do and how you perform overall through the course.
