The total tuition fees for BSc ranges between INR 1.7 lakh and INR 3.5 lakh at St. Joseph's University. The fees is lowest for BSc Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics, Chemistry-Botany-Zoology and Physics-Electronics & Mathematics. The fees is similar for all other specialisations.

St. Joseph's University conducts entrance exam-SJUET for admission in BA in Optional English, Journalism and Psychology and BA in Visual Communication. For all other BA specialisations, selection is merit-based. Shortlisted candidates also need to pass a personal interview round for final admission.

The IIST Thiruvananthapuram JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 was released for admission to various BTech courses for the OBC and other categories.
For the OBC category, the last round cutoff ranged from 24.44 to 26.94 for admission at this college. As per this range, BTech CSE (Data Science) was the most competitive course. This course had the closing cutoff percentile of 26.94. The higher the percentile, the better.

SASTRA University conducts an entrance exam for admission in MCA programme. The deemed-to-be university also considers graduation marks for final selection. Aspirants must pass a minimum of three-year bachelor's degree with Mathematics as a subject in Class 12 or qualifying degree to apply for MCA.

SASTRA University gives 50% weightage to Class 12 scores and 50% to CLAT scores in Phase-II. In Phase-I, admission is entirely based on scores of the aspirants in CLAT. In case the applicant has not appeared for CLAT, weighted score for 50% will become 0 but the Class 12 aggregate will be given 50% weightage to get the combined score in Phase-II.
