NIMS University has an Anti-Ragging Cell. Hence, the freshers will never meet with this problem while studying in this college. The college premises has strict laws against the student found guilty of any act such as abusing, assaulting, threatening, teasing and embarrassment to new students, among others.

The admission process for the BCA course at Banasthali Vidyapith is to get at least 60% marks in class 12 exams. Admission is made on the basis of performance in the entrance exam. The entrance exam consists of questions around mathematics and reasoning. Similarly, NIMS University BCA course admissions are made on the basis entrance exams. The accepted exam for admissions is NIMSEE (NIMS entrance exam).

Swami Vivekanand Subharti University in Meerut is considered decent, accredited private university particularly recognised for its medical, dental & law programs making it worth considering if you are looking for balanced campus life with good infrastructure. However it may not meet "hype" of top tier national institutes as engineering & other technical branches are considered average.

Yes, taking an entrance exam is usually part of the B.Des admission process at Lovely Professional University. You can appear for LPUNEST, LPU's own test, or use valid scores from recognised national design exams like UCEED, NID DAT (Prelims), NIFT, and similar. Class 12 marks are considered for scholarships, so a higher percentage can help get a better fee waiver, as long as your exam score meets the requirement.
I feel taking the exam can really help, as it gives you more opportunities and flexibility during admission.
