BTech & BSc are the flagship courses of the university.The university has been ranked 41 under the "State Public Universities" category by NIRF 2025. The admissions are based on entrance exams. The accepted entrance tests for admissions are JEE Mains, CUET, etc. For SC and ST candidates, 5% relaxation in the minimum eligibility conditions for admissions is applicable.

Yes, Savitribai Phule Pune University admissions are open. The university takes admissions on the basis of both merit & entrance exams. Admissions are granted based on marks in the university's own entrance test called Online Entrance Exam (OEE).

The JEE Mains cutoff of 2026 has not been released yet. However, in 2025 the closing rank for the general category for BTech in AI and ML was 1843344. In 2024 the closing rank for SDEC BTech AI and ML was 737084.

Vellore Institute of Technology is a private university, recognised by UGC. BTech & MBA are the flagship courses of the university. As per NIRF 2025 rankings, the university has ranked 21 in "Overall" category, 14 in "University" category & 16 in "Engineering" category. The highest package offered to students during the VIT Vellore placement 2025 was INR 1 Cr per annum. Overall, it is a very good institute.
