The OU placement drive for the MBA batch of academic year 2024-25 saw students getting offers from Federal Bank, HDFC, Deloitte, Code Young, ICICI etc. The highest offer was INR 16 LPA at the Federal Bank.

Yes, you can pursue an open or distance MBA through Osmania University. It is offered via the Prof. G. Ram Reddy Centre for Distance Education (PGRRCDE). Admission to this course is through performance in the TG ICET or an entrance exam conducted by the PGRRCDE, OU. To be eligible the candidate must have completed a UG degree with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/BC).

Admission to the Osmania University MBA course takes place primarily through the state-wide management exam, i.e., the TG ICET. However, some colleges under or affiliated with OU also take scores from other national level entrance exams like CAT, XAT, etc. into account. For example, the David Memorial Institute of Management MAT XAT, and CAT along with the TG ICET.
