University of Limerick is research institute, one of the best choices for international students. As per the official data, university accepted over 18,000 students under UG and graduate programs, out of which more than 3,000 students were international. The university is popular for offering more than 200 PG and 50 undergraduate programs in diverse specializations that can lead to a high paying career. The University of Limerick requires a minimum of 6 and 6.5 scores in IELTS for UG and PG programs respectively. Along with that, students must submit TOEFL, Duolingo scores to submit a proof of English language proficiency. The English language requirements for UG and PG programs at the University of Limerick are given below:

The University of Limerick expects a cumulative GPA of 3 on 4-point scale for undergraduate and graduate programs. However, the university do not give high weightage to GPA during admission. In addition, students must submit a degree in relevant subject from a recognised institution equivalent to first class honors and submit documents including degree certificate and academic transcripts, personal statement, reference, letter of introduction, English language requirements, and more.

For undergraduates, the eligibility includes a proof of high school completion for which they can submit their high school certificate. They must fulfill the English language requirements too. On the other hand, the criteria for post-graduation is quite tough. The students must have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent or an honors degree with the score between 55% and 70%. Also, they must proof their English language proficiency. Here, the minimum requirements is quite high compared to UG.

International students can take the University of Limerick admission in two intakes which are Autumn and Spring. The Autumn intake starts in the mid of Feb every year and close receiving application during June. On the other hand, the Spring intake starts in the mid of July and ends in November. Students willing to join either intakes must fulfill the basic eligibility and submit the required documents asked by the university.
